At the start of the thread, I said this
Then this...
Then I saw a knife I've wanted for a few years. Available. In a configuration I like. I shook it off. After all, I just spent a bunch of money on that CRK; and I've been enjoying carrying & using it. Besides, I've been carrying a sub 3" folder for the past year and a half & that thing is BIG. Bigger than I would have gone for when I was regularly carrying a 4" folder.
Bought it this morning, before bed (not my picture, again)

I could understand if these were late night, sleep deprived, alcohol fueled purchases; but they weren't. They were stone sober and well considered (if a bit impulsive)

I blame you!!
*yes, I meant no regerts

Thanks for all your help
I hadn't purchased a folder since spring 2021. Last month, I came across a knife I've kicked myself for years for not buying when I had a chance - a Buck 112 Ecolite. Inexpensive folder, no big deal...and I really like it.I'm not sure I could find another folder I'm willing to buy. I'm stuck in a Just Say No phase
Then this...
Expensive, but I like it a lot more than I expected; so no regerts...and no thoughts about another knife.I'm not sure what happened - I got in a mood, started looking & found a Zinker that I liked. Then I found some Curtiss F3s in stock. I waited...and a couple days later, this happened (not my picture).

I think lack of sleep and lack of alcohol have affected my judgement![]()
