If you had $650 USD to spend on a new knife…

Damascus and burl Mnandi but if it has to be edc to meet the criteria, I‘d like to try a nice flipper.

I would try to grab a 3rd Eklipse Bowie (tri-way) in Like new condition. IMO that knife (the Eklipses in general) have some of the best ergos of any knife made, and his Bowie blades are straight up sexy. So that, or maybe an XM-24 Bowie, since I don’t own any 24s.

If we're talking folders , I've never thought I'd have that much to spend on one. But if I had it and it was required to go to a folding knife there are reasons I'd be looking at CRK and Arno Bernard as strong contenders. Which one does suretouch?

I would try and find that Wilson combat star benenza that was lost in the mail some how, but I would pick up a used one if I found one! that loss always bugged me and I understand they no longer make that modal .

We're all different and what ever "floats your boat" but that's circa £520 (UK) I wouldn't personally dream of wasting that much on any knife/folder. I value working function over anything else, a knife is always a tool for me first and foremost. But again if it makes someone happy etc....

If it was the only one I was allowed to keep, I wouldn’t complain.
I only have a couple that I whine about being my only knife. I've been telling myself for years to get rid of the darn things; but I don't hate them quite as much as I say I do.
(Still wouldn't want them as my only knife, though)

Benchmade adamas mini. Cruwear steel is very nice and overall construction is spot on. Excellent size. Best knife I've owned and I've owned them all, mostly. I'd say I'd buy a few as spares but don't need more of the same, it's quite durable. So just pocket the difference.

I normally have a price limit on knives I purchase, not due to limited funds rather a personal choice of value to functionality.

But I'd love a Carothers or Busse knife so it would be either of those. Being in the UK and quite inpatient is the only reason I've not "pulled the trigger" on either.
