If You Had To Choose Just One Spyderco...

THE STORY SO FAR... (for anyone who's vaguely interested) the PM2 reigns supreme. Who would've expected that? Everyone, probably. The Gayle Bradley has been getting a lot of love everywhere, but to see it beat out the Endura and Delica is pretty unexpected. The top 4 are pretty tough to beat right now.
(Those who listed 2 or more models without picking out a clear favorite, I decided to divide into quarters or half points instead; if it was 3, the 1st got 0.5, the other two got 0.25.)

01] Paramilitary 2 (Reg: 7): 10.50 (PM2 - M390: 2; Elmax 0.50; Imaginary H-1 'Salt' version: 1)
02] Manix 2(5)/Manix 2 XL(2.25): 7.25 (Manix 2 Cru-Wear: 1.50)

Without any doubts - C36G Military!

The Spyderco Military is the one large-sized 'flag-ship' model I haven't picked up yet, mostly due to the tip-down clip. But I've gotten used to carrying tip-down with the K2, and I could always get it modified. I guess I thought that the PM2 was a more efficiently designed version of the Military, with a smaller blade and better lock.

The 4+inch blade is nice, though... I sold my Manix 2XL recently, thinking I didn't carry it enough to keep it around. I regretted it immediately -- almost as much as I missed my Gayle Bradley after giving it away. I'm hoping my next Spydercos will be the Mamba and GB2 (since the Nirvana is a 2016 model), but the next one on my list if they're not out soon is going to be the Military, instead of replacing the M2XL or GB1. The fluted titanium model, and especially the Ti and CF KW exclusive, are too nice to ignore.

Very tough call. My heart says my Fluted Millie, but my gut says this guy:

My absolutely favorite Spyderco w/o any doubt is the Manix 2 CF S90V.

Light weight, great ergonomics, blade is super strong and smooth to open, lock is rock solid, perfect length that's legal in Colorado, wide yet disappears into my pocket easily.

I either have this or my PM2 in my pocket.

Both are fantastic Spyderco classic designs!

I have a bunch of Spydercos but the one I would hate to lose is my Orange Sprint run G-10 Dodo "designed in the dark".

Spyderco Delica FFG. Does well over 99% of the stuff I want a folder to do, it's light, easy to sharpen VG10 that keeps a good edge for a more than passable amount of time, easy and relatively inexpensive to replace if necessary, has a trainer if your interests go in that direction, and is of legal length for the vast majority of jurisdictions.

One of the Salt series, because they are the only folders I know of that are totally rust proof in salt water. Everything else can be covered by other brands.

UPDATE: (In case anyone is curious) Which Spyderco knives have emerged as favorites amongst probably the most knowledgeable and discriminating community of Arachnophiles -- and blade aficionados in general -- on the planet? The numbers in RED indicate an increase, names in RED indicate 1 full vote; BLUE indicates a split vote entry with less than 1 full point.

The PM2 is still the clear favorite, unless a lot of new votes pop up, but voting has slowed... The Military, however, is now in 2nd Place, tied with the combined Manix 2 and Manix 2 XL vote-count. The tie now means that the Gayle Bradley is alone in 3rd place. The Delica jumped ahead as it thought it might, passing the Endura to take 4th. The Salt combo entry pushed the Slysz Bowie down and tied the Endura for the 5th position. The Dodo got two votes from nowhere, putting yet another knife in 8th place.

SO: In the Top 5, Golden knives are worth their weight in... Iridium, with 3; Japan's flagship models still have wind in their sails with 2, and Taiwan is still looking West... or I suppose Colorado qualifies as the 'Far East' from Taiwan... with 1 Taichung GB in third place (and a runner-up in 6th).
