If you had to pick one knife to carry forever...

Darrel Ralph custom AA-AXD. If God is willing, the lock side will be covered in scratches, each one representing a year sober.

If you could only carry one knife for the rest of your days which would it be? I would pick the 940-1 currently.

For folders, I'd pick my ZT0300 based on overall design, build quality and function (just needs a 3V blade LOL!) and something like my Busse TGLB or Scrapyard SOD for a nice mid length (7" blade) or larger fixed blade because they're bomb proof and perform well.:thumbup::thumbup::cool:

Carry forever... I'm thinking spyderco southfork  does everything a knife is suposed to do, and does it very well

I love that idea, and the blade is gorgeous in a way that will only get better with markings. Well played, sir.

OK, a purely hypothetical answer will be ZT0550....
Not because it is better than any other, but because of IMHO it is the knife that I own that can take the most and that has the simplest mechanism...

I may use it for everything, from food preparation (sic!), warehouse and cardboard, trail and camp.... and trust it for his reliability

But again that is purely hypothetical, I have other knives that will be much better in some usage

Right now i would say my zt 0561, but a custom grip with g10 scales and S30V/M4 would be a close contender. In my head i want to say a sebenza, but my choice will change once i start questioning my choice.

Congrats in your one year! I'm currently 22 months strong.

I'd have to go with my Sebenza 21. I'm not going to say its perfect bc to me it's not BUT it is a great EDC and very simple in design.
