If you had to take 1 folder and 1 fixed blade knife to war what would it be ;)
I would pick a cold steel gurkha kukri
And a cold steel xl espada

Well, just for fun... :)
The fixed blade would remain the same regardless of circumstances, sentimental value and what.
Fixed: my dads ww2 ka-bar, damn thing is brutally sharp.
Folder: currently either my zt 0300, or my doc killswitch. :)

SAK or multi-tool

Spyderco street bowie

I'd probably skip the fixed blade to save on weight. The military gives you a lot of other stuff to carry.

Fixed Blade would be my ESEE Laser Strike with MOLLE back on sheath.
Folder would be my ZT 0562 or ZT 0350 (I will have to flip a coin.) If I can get my hands on one a Hinderer XM-18 would actually be my first choice.

Umm, probably a BK5 for fixed, weighs less than the 9, still has some size, can still be used for food prep... And probably a ZT 0200... and I carry my Vic spirit all the time, but if that counts as another knife, I'd leave the 0200 at home I guess

I'd be carrying what so many other SF guys in the sandbox are carrying on their dime,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

A Bagwell Bowie, happen to have several laying around here ready for duty.

Folder: SAK, same hiker that's in my pocket daily

Pohlforce Lima One

Possibly with some custom grooved scales.

Zt 561 or 301 for cutting stuff. Big bear classic for pokin holes in the bad guys

I would carry what i carried when I was in the Military.

USMC Ka-Bar.

My GSO 4.1 and my Shot Show Benchmade Griptilian in M4, Carbon Cuts!
You better make sure your folder has a strong lock if your life could depend on it, not the place to save a few bucks.
