Of the knives I've owned, I'd take my Ratmandu and my Military. That should cover about everything I'd need. I'm surprised no one has said the Ratmandu yet.

I carried my Gerber BMF everyday during Desert Shield/Storm. I would do it again if need be. Next time around I would have my ZT 0200 in my pocket too.

Edit: After thinking about this for a while I would probably go with a Treeman 8" dagger. That should fit the bill nicely as a last ditch hand to hand weapon.

My Emerson satin serrated CQC15, and my black Cold Steel SRK.

If the SRK is good enough for BUDS school, it'll be good enough for me.

Plus it is light, not too large but big enough, and feels like a sharpened file with a good rubber-type handle on it.

Fixed blade... My grandfather's Cattaraugus 225Q that he carried in combat in Europe. I restored it.

Folder... my DDR custom AA-AXD.

Do we have to limit it to what we already own or sky's the limit? For my folder I'd take my Benchmade Presidio 520, for my fixed blade I'd take either my ESEE 6 or my Marc Lee Glory knife. Or maybe my ESEE 5? It could come in handy if it ever had to stab a tank to death 😝🔪🔪

19th century war? 20th century? Dystopian future? I mean, come on, you can't just say war. It depends.
