If you're a teenager, let us know!

Don't have much of a collection here, but here is the last one I made! I'm hanging on to for a couple more days as I get the sheath finished up.

Nice thread! I just joined here not too long ago, as I have had an interest in knives for about a year or so. 17 going on 18 next month. Currently only have a couple cheap knives but I'm looking at a Spyderco Manix 2 now.

Proof of age (Just got my Permit!!!)
Congrats :)
The sebenza, I worked my a$$ of for that one. Took about half a year to save up for it then I found myself at one stop knife shop to pick it up.
Thats awesome :)

Welcome to the forums :)

I am not a teenager, but I wanted to say that it's great to see young people getting into this hobby and everything it stands for. I never had any good cutlery at that age, nor was I raised in an environment which promoted preparedness, or anything positive, really. Thinking back, my teenage years were definitely the worst of my life. Where was I again? Oh, right. Kudos to you guys. Good to have you here, and keep on keeping on.

forgot to post this, heres a picture of most of my collection, i left out the stuff i dont really use and stuff like that :)

Man, I'm turning 18 in a couple months and this thread is making me feel old! It's awesome to see how many other young people are on BF. I joined about a year ago, and I've already learned so much. I wish I would have found this website earlier like some of you guys have! Congrats on getting a great head start on your collections!

a young traditionalist? Means me 'n CJ aren't alone! yesss

Not a teen but still young, just had my 22nd this past weekend.

I stick to fixed blades and slipjoints or friction folders as my carry.

I don't think that I own any locking knives anymore. If I need a blade to be solid, I pull a fixed blade.

I like the way traditionals carry, it's more familiar/comfortable in my pocket and hands.

I admire this collection.

Fixed blade, Slipjoints, Friction folder (without the Vibralock), SAKs, a multitool, I mean come on an Opinel and some nice folders?

You've done well for yourself :D

This man speaks the truth. I love traditional knives, however I am kind of drifiting back towards more "modern" folders.

But that doesn't mean i'm going tacticool, nor am I getting rid of my traditionals :)

Well in my state driving permits are pieces of computer paper. So I guess the state ID will have to do.
