I'll never trust Fallons Knives again. Be warned!

It's a shame that with so many people on the Busse forums that you could trust completely, and who step up to help each other out routinely, the ones we hear about are the few like DE OPPRESSO LIBER, knife hunter, and now Fallons Knives. Please don't take these guys as typical of the whole Busse thing, they are just wrong.
 
He seems to be a legend in his on mind... I read his bio, he's pretty tickled with himself and that axe!!!!

P/S and now he has left the building...
 
This guy should be on everyone's list, and the day he get's a 'Hog name', well, it should never happen. Someone knows where this guy lives and all his info, Doby just did a deal with him. So send PG the info so he can have the Law pay the guy a visit with papers!

He mentioned '$2600' in his user thread, along with all kinds of implicating statements, so PG should'nt have too hard a time in court with this jester.

This guy should never be sold any INFI again, he's disrespected a Senior Hog, and desecrated a 1-3 Ax, enough said!
 
Fallon knives EVERYONE can see you reading their posts here. Man up, pay PG what you owe him and work your way back up to humanity from the bottom of the barrel. I hope you enjoyed your little 15 minutes of fame here because like Esav siad, if you don't man up you'll be gone forever!
 
Well I decided I would check this thread again and I am disapponted to see that Fallon hasn't posted yet and is no longer veiwing this thread.
 
He contacted me via email. He has made an offer of blades as trade, but times are tough for me as well. Cash is king and that was what we agreed on, that is what I will require as settlement, nothing more nothing less. He offered to buy a Scandi blade just the other day for $325, that is just $75 short of what he owes me. Hopefully enough folks will see this and they'll turn him away from their sales so he can cover his debts first. I am not bitter, just expecting a man to keep his word.

OP, being that I have worked with the MO State Patrol before, I might still have a few old contacts down that way. I am not above putting things through their legal paces, I do hope he realizes that coming up with the money will be much easier and a lot less pain in the butt. He still has a chance to redeem himself and make it right. I will still not do business with him again, but I will at least respect him more for doing as he promised to begin with.
 
I consider Knifehunter to be pretty typical of the Busse experience: a guy who will bend over backward to help a guy out, even going so far as to offer to buy a knife from me and hold it til I had the cash to get it back because he knew I was in a bind. He's also warned me of doing business with Fallon and a couple others, saving me trouble. On top of that, he has helped multiple others out, and has a pretty good character-rating amongst people who really act as part of the Busse family.

The only place KH has ever been atypical of the above (which is how I've found so many Busse people to be) is when he's been forced to defend himself here. THEN he fights like a mad man. Isn't that what one is supposed to do when his character is called into question?

Seriously...and this is not to disrespect anyone in here...I don't see how any people who actually spend time in the Busse forum can even put KH's name in the same sentence as an alleged/potential thief and a guy who just today spat venom in the face of Jerry Busse's business ethics and decisions--ON HIS OWN FORUM.

Just saying.

No, he should fight like a gentleman, not a mad man.

I don't need to spend time in the Busse forum to know what KH looks like when he sticks his head out here and spews all over people, completely out of control. There are ways of defending your interests and your reputation without sacrificing both. Which he's done more than once.

For awhile there, KH sunk entirely to DOL's level. I don't think KH started the silliness but he definitely went right there with DOL. Bringing David Brown into it is what specifically made me add him to my 'never deal with' list. It seemed to me like exactly the type of manipulative diverting crap that has no place in any sort of argument between adults. He may be a great guy but he did not comport himself well in that particular case and you can not rightly expect anyone who does not know KH as well as you to overlook this when arriving at a conclusion.

But... this thread is about Fallon's knives. Kinda strange to buy an axe for one's son who is serving in Iraq and then, months later, trade it to someone else. If he had a son serving overseas, I'd think he'd have wanted to get him a tool like that rather quickly.
 
i apologize. i am sorry it has taking me so long to respond. if progunner could post my email to him maybe that will help. As i stated in it, times are hard. and maybe not as hard for some as others. and im sorry for not paying progunner as quickly as i liked. and im sorry that trees arnt made of money. still this is no excuse. like i stated in my email when we finish this deal i am done with bladeforums. i cannot afford anymore knives and thus i do not belong here. but please dont try and make comments about me. no one here has met me or has any idea who i am. again i apologize for all this and i hope progunner will forgive me.
 
We all have our opinions, and most of us do not change them easily, however he had nothin to do with this thread, and here his name is again.

I have no problems with anyone here, and am not looking for any with you, Esav--especially considering your position as a moderator--however, it's not really fair to drag into this thread ANY names other than those involved in this situation. I hope you can see what I'm saying without feeling challenged personally.

As for Fallon's knives: I knew about the trade he did with Dobt way back when, and I WISH I'd known then about this scumbaggery. A few weeks after the axe left Lee's hands, Fallon committed to buying a knife from me, a sabre SFNO, then disappeared for a few, and returned saying he no longer had the cash. But just that day I saw him make an offer for only 100$ less on a different knife.

As I said earlier, I was warned about him by another member. Lucky me. I wish we'd known before his deal with PG, though.

He is a turd,....... He commissioned a knife from me... For his son!!! The soldier.. I cut him a deal, pushed his knife to the front, then the said he needed a few days to come up with the money!! Then.......... Nothing.. I called him on it.. And sold it on the exchange.. I have warned others... Behind the scenes.. But,,, HE IS A FRAUD... AND.. his time IS over,,,, i would never make another knife for him!!
