I do enjoy my Delica but like my Native 5 a little more.
Wouldn’t call either of them “the king”.

Cold Steel has not been noticeably hurt by their marketing . Spyderco makes quite a few models for the same niche with fairly "tactical " names: Police , Military , Paramilitary , Warrior and of course the Civilian which is about as wicked a design as it gets .Robert, sorry to offend your cold steel sensibilities. Many people enjoy their products, and that is fine by me. I am just saying they are not for me personally. I think that kind of marketing hurts knife enthusiasts in the long run because they are promoting their products as death machines and "tactical" weapons with too much zeal. But if that's your cup of tea, go for it. I just don't agree personally.
Also, number of posts in a forum does not equate to knowledge or judgment.
But thanks for your comments.
IMO, the Delica 4 is still the king of EDC knives. I still can't find a better combo of utility, comfort, and value.
Works like a charm, gets and stays sharp, doesn't scare too many people, is light and thin, ergonomic, and cuts like crazy.
So who else is a Delica lover, and what knives do you think are better EDC choices?
It's a very old design now, but it's amazing how good it still is. There are many competitors, and I would like to know what some of you guys think may be better. I've handled many of the competitors in shops, but I can't seem to find something better than my Delica in an overall package (including function, price, value, etc.).
Anyway, long live the Delica!

No lanyard hole on the Chaparral. Wire clip on Chaparral. The Delica is great but the Chaparral FRN is better in pretty much every way.
Not for me. Too small and I'm not a fan of FRN.
