As requested. I am actually carrying it today, along with a Spyderco Manix2 lightweight.

The color is really bright in person, I love everything about it.

It looks great, man! Way nicer than mine. Those colors really pop. Thanks again for posting these pics...

I know I'm busting the budget by a dollar or two, but I received my Ontario Rat 2 yesterday in OD green, and man is it a sweet little knife. Great ergos.

CRKT Drifter G10 ($17)

Excellent size for EDC
Fast deployment
Centered blade
Sharp out of box

I love the drifter. I can't wait until the large version comes out. My only real complaint is the pocket clip is a little stiff and I wish it was tip up, but otherwise its great. I definitely plan on picking up some of the sanrenmu versions like the tiger stripe blade.

I've gotten quite a few inexpensive knives lately that I love. I picked up the Christmas kershaw pack and both the Swerve and Freefall are great. I know its a softer steel but they were still hair shaving sharp out of box and in normal EDC use I don't mind if I have to touch up the edges a little bit more than usual.

I've gotten a few $5-7 stiletto's off ebay in the last few weeks and I'm actually impressed by the bulid quality. Now they're definitely cheapo knives but not too bad. A couple took some breaking in to lock up right and open smoothly but they feel sturdy otherwise. The fit and finish isn't great, as the scale on one is a little off center and things like that but for $6 it still beats a lot of gas station knives I've had. The steels seem to vary but even real stiletto's don't use the greatest steel. I've gotten a decent edge on them so they should be neat little letter/box openers if nothing else. I even got a pink one for my female friend and she loved it. The only real thing that worries me is the spring breaking but I guess we'll just see what happens.

I got the gerber void/curve combo half price for $10 after Christmas. Fit and finish isn't great on the void but it was super sharp and opens really smoothly. The curve is just a neat little tool.

Just got the Ganzo G710 in the mail today. Really surdy and razor sharp. Feels like a much more expensive knife and I only paid $12 for it on ebay. Definitely going to be my edc for the time being.

Sorry for the rant but I've been on a knife binge lately.

My Case yellow handles knives are pretty inexpensive. I love them and carry them often.

My vote goes to the Alox Cadet. All in a package less then 8mm thick.

Open a beer, CHECK
Pry a nail, CHECK
Strip a wire, CHECK

Besides my leathermans the only inexpensive blade i carry is a Buck 373 stockman. $10 knife and worth so much more. Everything else i carry is around the $100 mark and up.

That's a pretty nice setup, but I'd be afraid that the pry bar would mess up the scales anodizing too much.

those of you who are familiar with the ganzo, know some of their knives are right hand carry only(G711 and G712) and the G704 and G712 have no lanyard holes. except for my G707 which I never carry, I have equipped all of my Ganzo knives with both.

Only Mtech I have ever purchased ($25 - the good reviews outweighed the bad as best as I could judge). Model MT-151 I was impressed to be truthful, takes a screaming convex edge (have yet to see how long that edge lasts in the woods). Blade did curve about 5 degrees if you look down the spine to tip. Chinese 440(a) wont be rusting anytime soon...
The naked tang, before some slight mods

For $25 best knife is a Mora, fixed blade, pocket is cadet. Or try to find a used Persistance or another from that line for $25. Ontario rat 1 sometimes goes for around 25 that is another great option. But

I got my kershaw cryo on sale for $28...Very impressive knife for the money...
