I did start an email chain for those that have sent me their email addresses. If you would like to be added to the email list just let me know. Plenty of room for more people to attend, it should be a blast!

Hey zmbhntr, I remember you said you'd bring a chainsaw. I'll get there as early as possible and bring mine and help get a bunch of firewood processed to help save some time for us to chop the rest of the time. I agree other Hogs should attend. Come on guys, there should be enough food for extra people to show up at the last minute. I myself am bringing plenty of extra food.

Getting close, can't wait.
Not my pics, but just to add some visual incentive to those on the fence...

I've been working on a song for it. "INFI in the woods" set to the doors riders on the storm music. Not really but I am bringing a new Hennessey deep jungle xl with monsoon tarp, and I can't decide between the kelty noah 16 or 20 for large scale cover, the price difference is like 8 bucks but I don't like the jungle green color of the 20.

Check these tarps out, very good quality and great price.

I don't remember if you can post outside links, so just google "Etowah tarps"
They used to make the tarps that they sold at "BushcraftUSA", but had some sort of a falling out.
I spoke with the owner when I bought it, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.
Sounds like he's been 'tarpin' for many years.

I'm looking for a 16 x 16 or 20 x 20. His don't seem to go that big and it's a little late for a custom order.The 20 is only 86 bucks.cottage vendors typically can't beat that

Ah I see, I'm psyched to see your set up.
This will be my first time using a hammock as a primary system.
My wife is going to help me sew an under quilt and possibly a bug net.
I'm going to try it out, before dropping money on a full set.
I've been a tent guy my whole life but thought I'd give it a go.

Took the boy out to the woods to get the hang (no pun intended) of setting the hammock and tarp up.

One of many configurations you can do with a tarp.

Sweet set up. I'll be bringing a deep jungle xl Hennessy and my full eno rig though I expect that I will be falling in love with the Hennessy and using my underquilt and top quilt on the Hennessey. I've got some Dutch clips coming for it. I'm ready for this to happen, not to wait two more weeks

Great pics rcb2000. Breavis, thanks for the info about the hammocks; I had never really considered them before but I watched a few videos today, and I'm definitely intrigued now. Zombie, thanks for offering to bring your chainsaw.

Only about 16 days until the trip!

That ear worm is in there. Good luck getting it out. "INFI in the woods"

That's a pretty good jingle! How about "INFI Rising" set to Creedence Bad Moon Rising music.

I see INFI arising.
I see whiskey on the way.
I see wood chips a flyin'

Awesome zmb. I heard "Something to believe in" by Poison and was singing "Give me something to be choppin".......instead, I had myself cracking up on the way home today. So now I have whiskey in my blood and INFI in my hand and I'm choppin away at home. Singing a mixture of modified Doors, CCR, Poison songs.

I can't wait,,, last 5 days have been spent moving :grumpy:
I'm sore, tired, and back to work tomorrow.
How many more days until we smash things in the woods? :D

I hope the weather will be as nice as it was this weekend! It was mid 70's here, lots of sun and low humidity, it was just about perfect. Can't wait for the trip!
