It's not so much a joke as a satire. The term was used to grab attention. I'd say it worked. A racist joke wouldn't really have applied to the situation as race hadn't played a part in that thread.

One of the very first lessons I taught my children was to admit wrongdoing, apologize and move on.
I was the first to reply to that post.....my girl of 5 years is black, her 2 boys are black. Our families get along wonderfully. That word just pisses me off.....pretty sure I'm not the only one. Wish you could see my boy's faces when they hear that word.
Staple.......would it be THAT difficult to hit us with a 'my bad' and move on?? If you truly feel it would be......maybe you should just move on.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I can't see your point of view as it applies to this situation, just as you can't seem to see mine. If you can't even tolerate the word when used to illustrate how ridiculous the hate behind it is then you're just handing over that power to the user. I am sorry if you or anyone else took offense to the comment though, as none was intended.

Good for you btw. Interracial relationships can be tough. I'm half of a mixed race couple as well(white/mexican-native). You wouldn't think it'd be an issue anymore, given that whites are actually the minority here, but it still comes up.

You disputed the membership charge so it was cancelled automatically by paypal. If you'd like it reinstated, please cancel the dispute. In the meantime, if you can't handle getting infractions, that's not a cause for paypal dispute. Disputing your membership charges is cause for us to lock your account.
