Ink in the Meat- Tattoo Thread

Thanks guys! I'm was really happy with it the day I saw what he came up with from the concept I gave him. The colors turned out great. Who else has new ink to show off?

Im going to try out a new artist tonight. No new work tonight just have him touch up a couple older ones and see if I want him to do the rest of my arm.

My artist left Philly for summer break and never came back :(

Just got back, still got my arm wrapped up from the few touch ups. His work is fine, and his prices are average... But he wont be doing any new work on me. He has a bad attitude, and he tried to up the price after he started the touch-ups and I already paid, his reason was someone else came in and wanted a tattoo so he was loosing money... I was shocked he said that lmao,

we had already agreed on a price, the work didnt change, but because another person comes in I should pay more? I have loads of Tats, that I have got from Florida, to Michigan, Texas, to Philadelphia and never has an artist raised his prices in the middle of a tat.

I told him he could finish for what I already paid, or he could refund me my total amount, despite the work he already has done.... He finished for the agreed original price ... But I wont be going back there.

Still shopping for the right person to continue my work!

Wow! Compared to the tats ya'll have my one single tribal looks like poo! I am too embarrassed to show it now!

I need to complete converting the Busse knives in to linework. I was going to do a sticker of a lineup. Like people put on the back window of their vehicles of something signifying each member of the family. Mine would be by blade. Then make an armband out of it.

Great tattoos everyone!
I am so excited this thread was brought back as well, because I have a new tattoo to share with all of you :D I've wanted a "traditional" tattoo for years, but I never knew what I wanted. I got this little fella about a month ago, he's almost completely healed.

I LOVE your tattoo Lora! The colors in it are beautiful

Finding the right artist for you is difficult. I got lucky when the shop opened up near my house. My new guy is great, and his personality is wonderful. I'm sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience, and I hope that you find an great artist soon.

I am thinking about getting my first one. Anybody got any tips on how to find a good artist and/or shop?
