Inkosi

I just sold one in the CRK sales sub forum. Not because it wasn't a good knife. I show the ease of break down for cleaning on bottom of page 18 of this thread. I occasionally carry a small unique 21 that sits right above the threshold of too small for my 6'4'' frame and it's a bit smaller than that. Very well engineered and very simple to take apart but won't fit everyone's hand.

The Inkosi breaks down quite easily and you definitely need the blue Loctite (non permanent) due to the blade pivot being one of the only two screws securing the knife handles. While much smaller than my beloved large Sebenza 21's and being too small for my hands I will keep it in my collection. As all CRK's this knife was very well thought out as well as engineered. Simple and built to last. I can only hope there will be a large Inkosi down the line.
The following photos show the break down for cleaning.

Those washers look amazing. I really like how they arranged the shape of the holes so they are not exposed to contamination when the knife is closed, and the fact they are locked by the stop pin, and equal in size. Really the most complex washer design out there that I've seen. Bravo to CRK for the effort to come up with those.

I don't always follow CRK's closely, but do have a couple that have been on my radar for awhile...
I just saw these, and this may be the one that makes me pull the trigger. I like the 25, but really like that these are a little smaller.

A little smaller? These are WAY SMALLER! I have one inbound, looking forward to trying it.

True :D They are almost the same size as the BM mini Grips I've been carrying for years, so it should be a good fit

My CRK experience has all been with the 21. From reading this thread I am totally confused about the Inkosi and the use of loctite. What is it for? Where and how do you use it?

I have several questions about the Inkoski. My apologies if these have been answered already in here, but this is a 22 page thread at this point.

1) Will CRK provide these with silver hardware?
2) Will CRK do a special order unique graphic on these?
3) Will the small 21 clip insert fit on these?
4) I assume that there are no standard inlays or graphics available (yet) (other than the prototype graphic)?

Thanks!

I have lost sleep over this matter.... Why use loctite, and can you adjust the pivot?? For me, still not enough info and reviews on the Inkosi... Very confused......

Do some reading on the 25...that'll answer all your questions.

Think "Umnumzaan" and you've got it. Like the Zaan, the pivot can be fine tuned for user's preference as to pivot tension. Since it isn't "bottoming out" on a bushing (ala Sebenza's prior to the 25), the pivot should have a tiny dab of purple locktite to hold the user preferred setting.

Handle a 25 today at a gun show(used) looked great ,but very stiff and really had a hard time opening. My regular and 21 had this beat.....really want the Inkosi just waiting on more feedback.

Simple pivot adjustment will fix that.

All you gotta do is buy a Inkosi from knife art and it's yours. The sticker is $375 and they throw in the Inkosi. Lol
