Thanks for the update on your update.
As for the adhesive try rubber cement like the stuff that comes with a flat repair kit. I also used shoe goo to help seal it .
By my count we have had 10 entries with 2 weeks left.
good call on the tire repair sealant - might be worth a try

Mag lite looks good - I think if you go a little wider on the tube you can probably get some solid waterproofing as well

Cody: Thanks for the update on trying to melt the tube together. I was going to try that same thing to see if it worked.
Great idea on the Maglite fix.
I'm going to try a variation on your slingshot idea. It will probably meet the same fate, but the plan is to test it out this afternoon.

I have one I made before. It works but not great.
I thought the contest bands were a little short so I didn't make one this time.
You should give it a try see what happens.
