Is lube optional this time or no?
WV is about 9 hours from me, so unless some Chicago folks want to carpool, I'm out for now.

The extreme weather kind of put the quietus on this idea, but it's getting a little better. Anybody up for a two and a half day paddle trip in LBL over Labor Day weekend? I'm thinking from Devil's Elbow around the horn and back down to Fenton. Here is a map. It's about 54 miles and some great wild camping.
I have a 5x10 utility trailer for hauling the trebuchet to site.

Hahahahaha that is freaking SWEET!!
I'm sorta late seeing this thread. I have done some bushcrafting and some of Turley Knives Hardwoodsman tab requirements in Mark Twain National forest the one west of Branson. But anyway, I'm down for a get together. I'm about an hour straight south of Kansas City. I don't post here a whole lot, but I swear I'm not a serial killer, Scout's honor. Love spending time in the good ole woods.
