This looks to be 100% kicka$$! I can't wait to get one in hand. I'll probably buy this 'un. Damned ZT. Making me spend more $$$!
 
I'm glad to see ZT moving in this direction. One piece of information I'd love to know isn't stated in the specs, however . . .

How much does it weigh?

The 0801 looks like it could be heavier than a Southard. The Southard weighs 4.1 oz. I prefer my EDCs to weigh 4.0 oz or less.

This is on my must have list. I just really hope they can get these on the market in a timely manner.

The stainless is very pretty but at the moment its looking like the production version will be black pivot.

This one looks very nice. However, full Ti handles and Elmax for a price point under the 0561? Don't think so. I like the pics, however, a more realistic ~price would be nice.

Confused by this post... are you saying the price is too high or too low? :confused:

Either way, keep in mind that the price listed is MSRP, street price will likely be lower. Hell, the MSRP on the 0561 is $325, and look at the deals you can find on them. :eek:
 
This knife looks really good! I was searching for SHOT Show news and saw all these new knives being introduced in the Kershaw forum. Jackpot!

The 0801 will be my second ZT (currently have the 0561). This knife has all the 'ingredients', for me.

It seems like ZT is really improving as time goes on. Not that they were lacking in the past, but it seems like they are upping their game, and the more recent designs are also more my style.

I'm saying the price seems low for what you're getting. If the MSRP is ~240 for a full Ti handled, ELMAX knife is correct, then sweet. Just sort of bucks the pricing structure for the industry.
