Watched Predator last night, DANG!!! its a great knife movie. So many different blades, different types, different uses. The machete Arnold pinned the guy to the wooden post "stick around" EXCELLENT..... thats my fav knife in the movie, (( rules violation )) Anyway is there any other movies that can even come close to the orgy of blades thats in Predator?? "Stick around" I love it, probably ad libbed, like all good actors Arnie didnt use a script :D

I really wish I could say yes, but the knives were made by Jack Crain. He's a real.... [fill in your favorite insult here]
See the Hall of Shame for more info.

Ha Ha thats what i said to my bird when we were watching it, i said "see the guy that makes all them knives, he supposed to be a s@$£bag" she said "you have too much time on your hands" :(

Predator is one of my favorite movies of all time

An other good one for knives is a movie called "La grande art" "exposure" or "High art"
It can be a tricky one to find in English but it's a quality movie none the less.

:)

Haze, is that the one with Peter Coyote in it? When he's drifting around South America or some such place?

I think First Blood still ranks high.... gotta love it!

Also Seraphim Falls. Pure joy if you're a bowie fan.

If you like Predator, you'll enjoy this news. Apparently, they're filming a remake with Robert Rodriguez directing  and Adrian Brody in Arnold Schwarzenegger's part. :barf: No word so far if "Screech" from "Saved by the Bell" will be available to play Jesse Ventura's role.

Predator was a great showcase for weaponry in general, not just knives. The gattling gun Jesse Ventura was blasting was CRAZY! And the Predator's shoulder cannon was brutal. Great movie.

A re-make of Predator??? Holy biscuits!!!! Jerry Busse for the blades maybe??? (Crain might take the cheque and the guys will end up with didilly squat :D)

Sure is, it's a great film but I only have it on VHS and don't even have a video player any more :p

Well, Predator fans can breathe a bit easier- I just found out the new Predator movie with Adrien Brody in it will not be a direct remake of the original movie. Thank God! Rumor is that it will roughly follow the original's storyline of "elite warriors being hunted by Predators". When I think "elite warriors", Adrien Brody and Topher Grace are not exactly the first guys that come to mind. Also, Rodriguez is producing, not directing.
