Is Predator the greatest knife movie ever made?

Not cult, just classic. I don't think there are many guys in this country that don't love Predator. It ranks right up there with Aliens and Empire Strikes Back as one of the most-loved movies of our generation. :thumbup:

The way the camera observes those muscular men made me think that the camera operator was or gay, or a woman :)
Really fun movie. My fave part is where awesome Arnie ritually covers himself with mud and then does his war cry at the edge of a cliff.
 
Predator is indeed sweet.

Also don't forget Spartan when it comes to knife movies.

HELL YEAH! ...predator is a better movie, but Cyborg is a knife-nuts wet dream! If I remember correctly they even use the same bad a$$ machete the big Indian carried in a couple of Cyborg scenes too!

I also love the opening scenes of Conan, where they show the making of the sword. :)
 
Predator (drools) man I love that film.I liked the under-mounted shotty that Sonny Landham had on his M-16A2.Cool setup.And of course Painless.Who can forget Painless.
All of the Predator films have some form of Bladed sweetness.
Blade gauntlet...Awesome
Telescoping spear...Awesome
Garry Busey-killing seeker blade disk....Awesome
Sweet long knife in a calf mounted sheath.(Alien skinner?)...Awesome
sweet throwing star with the retracting blades...Awesome
Now if we could put John Rambo in a movie against the Predators.That would be blade heaven.
 
Predator is a classic! KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE is a cult film! :D i would include SPARTAN as a good knife movie,cause i had a severtech to play with when i first seen the movie. :) the Hannibal movies have great knife scenes in them!
 
As far as knife movies go I still prefer "The Hunted" for that scene where he hauls himself out of the river and starts a fire and then makes a knife out of an old leaf spring.
Very feral in theme.

The Cyborg knife was an Al Mar Pathfinder. Mar's were the chief knives in the film:).
 
Exposure with Peter Coyote is only on VHS, AFAIK. Exposure with Ron Silver is on DVD, it is not a knife movie.
