I have struggled for years trying to figure out the best way to store my slipjoints. I have tried knife rolls, knive cases, display cases, counter top display cases etc. Right now I am using one of the WR Case zippered cases. About the best I have found. so how do you store your slipjoints?

+1 on the cigar boxes here. I've got them in cloth lined tins, laid neatly in desk drawers, and the ones still in the boxes I just stack them into plastic toolboxes.

I just leave them all over the house, so I'm never far from one. :D

All of my used knives are stored in Plano boxes.
All of my BNIB knives are put up in storage bins.

works for me

Plastic tool boxes, but I am looking for a more elegant solution for display.

I keep one of these on my nightstand and keep most my user slippies in along with a few other misc items (flashlights, jump drives, etc)

I hope to one day get a Gerstner chest. Seems like a classy way to keep your treasures.

All of my modern knives are in a large Seahorse (pelican like) case and I am planning to get a smaller Seahorse to store my slipjoints only in a vertical configuration.

I use this. Only the top drawer is for knives. The others have stones, misc manly junk, knife blanks to work on, and knife patterns.

I have the plans from Tauton Press to build this. Some day anyway.

Storage? We don't need no stinkin' storage!

I just kick 'em out of the way as I walk through the house.

I have one quite similar to that. I keep thinking I should get something nicer, but I also think I'd rather spend the money on more pocket knives.

I keep meaning to get one of those padded knife rolls. Currently I have knives in my safe, at my desk, on my bookcase, and on top of my dresser.

I had a Gerstner, and as far as I'm concerned that's the ultimate. Pricey, though, and I haven't replaced it.

USA or International? I prefer the originals, but you can buy a forged bowie at those prices. Needless to say I am having trouble pulling the trigger.
