OK, I knew I was going to eventually get cut, but 3x in just over 2 weeks. It doesn't help that I am buying knives with different actions and locks. I hope I'm over the learning curb. 😆 Oh wait, I just ordered a Kurambit.

If it makes you feel any better I pried the top off a paint can with a Chris Reeve Impinda wedged in sideways yesterday and I was indignant when it snapped shut on my knuckle. It didn't break the skin, but by all rights it should have.

Active cuts still in the process of healing? None. Scars from prior cuts? A few I can still spot and point out.

New knives are the worst. They are always out for blood. Knives you've had for a while get bored with how you taste and just stop taking bites. Mostly. Ones you have ignored for a long time and start carrying again may be a bit resentful and give you a nip to remind you to carry them more.

My cousin-in-law's Kershaw Emerson snapped shut on my middle finger. Didn't go to the hospital for nearly an hour. When I passed out from loss of blood. Doctor said I was lucky I didn't lose the finger at the knuckle. Also, the doc carried a Spyderco leafstorm! The scars on my index finger are from whirlyball. Included because I didn't wanna take a pick of just my middle finger. I'm THAT nice.
