Is there anyone out there without any cuts???

Or, maybe you are a knuckledragger? Lol. My arms are so long I can walk like a gorilla using my elbows.
I could be called that for many reasons.
None of them are complimentary.

None at the moment.

Woodcarving got me twice in the beginning, and then a stupid incident flipping a Matriarch 2 to impress my cat, buried the tip in my left elbow.
This weekend, I actually nicked my lip with a Dragonfly Wharnie after using it as my sole eating utensil to cut, stab, and eat cheese and apples without touching the food as I had dirty hands. I was impressed with the knife and the K390, that was my first thought.

With your amazing knife collection, I'd probably be cutting Other things.....
Haha.

PS. (my icon is from a BK62) seven stitches cause they didn't come polished enough.

Trial and error has led me to prefer knives with a guard, or handle contouring. I don’t recommend demonstrating the proper way to drive the tip of a knife through a dining room table ( I’ll spare the pics on that one, I can’t even look at them ). Accidents happen, but stupidity is avoidable - I’d like to say lesson learned, but… I’m sure there will be more.

Not cuts at the moment. I did get a good bite on my thumb last week from one of the River Hawks, but that healed really quickly. I do have an abrasion though where a knuckle touched the 36 grit belt in motion. Once that heals I will finally start training my hands with Dit Da Jow again which I have been putting off since my hands seem to ALWAYS have some access port to my internal systems on the go.

I’m at the point where I have fresh cuts on scars on top of old scars. Lol My granddaughters are always looking at my hands and arms counting scars and boo- boos. They ask what’s this one from papa? I have to admit some I’ve completely forgotten about the cause or situation. Then they have a look of confusion and wonderment about papa. 😂 You mean you forgot why you were cut ? 😆 I tell them it’s the lessons learned not necessarily the memories that matter when you cut yourself.

Not very often, but it does happen. My worst one was when I was a kid. Had gotten a deer, and I wanted to sharpen my knife before skinning it. I was using one of the V shaped ceramic rods. Missed the rod and found my finger. No stitches, but still a little scar there. Being young, excited, and in a hurry is a bad combo.

I got a nice one about 15 years ago. I forgot exactly what I was doing. I didn't need stitches, but it just kind of stuck with me to keeps the sharp part away from my skin.
Wait until you get your first feel of a nice red stovetop, that should be a chapter out of the ol' schoolbook taught and learned for ya.

...You mean you are NOT using your un-remembered (or even remembered!) scars to fabricate fable-like stories to your grandkids?! They might be too old for that, hahah, but if I were you? I'd be like... "I got this one back when I was waylaid in ol' San Fransiscy in 65' by a group of the One-Eyed Snakes, meanest motorcycle gang this side of the Mason-Dixon line... they grabbed my best girl, Becky, and I just tore into the lot of them... see this scar, you shoulda seen them!"

I don't know, I am young and love impressing kids with tales. Last time some kids approached me at a petting zoo, I convinced them I could speak and translate for the goats, as I'd spent long enough with them to learn their language 😂
