Its 1996....what's your EDC today?

Spyderco Police, no boye dent, fully serr.,large black "POLICE" engraved into the blade, not sure what gen it was.
That was my first expensive knife (over $170 in Canada). It started this slow progression of addiction ;)

I started the year with a cheap Frost knife with a little LED in the handle () Then bought a Berreta Zytel-handled one-hander with a 440C blade from Smokey Mountain Knifeworks catalog. By the end of the year I picked up an A. G. Russell damascus blade burl/Nickle silver lock-back from A. G.'s store in Springdale AR.

I didn't really discover what was out there until '98, when I finally got on the internet.

Gerber Gator and Victorinox Swisschamp.

i was 20, and that was probably my 3rd or 4th Victorinox, but first 'champ. i still carry one daily, i'm on #4 now. (one lost, one stolen, one given away)

that was my second Gator, the first was lost during my first real experimentation with alcohol a few years earlier :o

A Vic Swisschamp was my only pocket knife for several years until December of 1996 when I
took up a Super Tool. Then that was my EDC until several years later when I got my first dedicated folder, a Delica (not sure of the model but with a fully serrated ATS 55 blade, metal clip and no Boye dent.)

I was in the Air Force, in Saudi and Bahrain, carring a large Cold Steel Voyager (tanto blade). The originals were great knives, wish I still had it.
