It's Old Timer time, fellas: Show your U.S.-made OTs

The statue of liberty model came in gold filled and sterling silver versions. There was another one with an etch of a locomotive and maybe wooden handles; I am a little fuzzy on that one. I do have the first three aforementioned and I would buy another 123OT but they don't come up very often and they want money for them. Ironically, those bone-handled statue of liberty versions (well, the sterling one) go fairly commonly and inexpensively.

They look like a real workhorse and wondered why they went for a premium price

Personally I'd be more than happy witha vanilla version thats seen a bit of a life

I'm trying to decide whether I want to sharpen and start using this 61ot or not. It had some dried oil on the blades that left stains after I cleaned it off, otherwise it'd be minty. It would be a good user since it has good snap and no play, and I sure do like schrade's 4" slender stockman pattern. I already have a collection 61ot and have been wanting a good user. Hmmm, what should I do?

I vote: Use it

Can you really have more back ups than you need. My answer is NO. And I'm sticking to that. But if my wife ask there are only 2 of those. And I keep moving them around so if looks like everywhere you look there is one laying. Lol.

I think I have at least 10 regular 8ot's. That's definitely more than I could ever need but I like them so I keep buying them when the price and condition is right. I even have my grandpa's 8ot as well.

This is a 194 single blade trapper, but it has a liner lock which I have not seen too often. It belonged to my wife's grandfather ( we called him Paw Paw ), he used to keep it in a drawer in a small end table by his reclining chair.
