A friend has the clip point version of this knife he uses for cutting moose. While the chunky handle doesn't look as sleek as many of our more modern fixed blades, it grips and fills the hand well keeping fatigue at bay. Paired with appropriately thick blade stock these knives are made to work!I had one of those 858OTs as an edc for several years back in the 1990s, Charlie- before I ever thought of collecting knives.
