Belonged to my grandpa and is 100% user, lives on my hip now. Had to clean it up when I got is as the brass was all green. The sheath isn't correct to the knife but one we had laying around that fits.

I had one of those 858OTs as an edc for several years back in the 1990s, Charlie- before I ever thought of collecting knives. Now here are some OTs that I bet most people don't think of. They aren't as glamorous as a 1959 bone-handled 8OT, but they are good knives.View attachment 1622261

A friend has the clip point version of this knife he uses for cutting moose. While the chunky handle doesn't look as sleek as many of our more modern fixed blades, it grips and fills the hand well keeping fatigue at bay. Paired with appropriately thick blade stock these knives are made to work!

As a longtime Stockman fan I have a decent supply of Schrade and Ulster USA made Stockmen pocketknives in different lengths. OH

Nice stacka knives, Bruce. Two to look for are the 8OT and 61OT made for Schrade by Camillus. They have through pins instead of Swinden construction.
