I made hot chocolate for the children with the Snow Peak Litemax. I also made myself some tea with my little tea kit, a Bushbox Micro paired with a Gram Weenie burner.

Now, I finally understand the need for all those packs and stoves. Having a dedicated stove/pack/fuel system for each food item is brilliant!:D

On a side note, when I was a high school swimmer, I used to have to go up against this guy:Rich Saeger, who went on to swim at the '84 Games; needless to say I never even came close to him. All I could ever hope for was that he wouldn't lap me....

Mike, that is awesome man! I'm sure that was a thrill not only for your kids but for all the kids that got to swim.

Nathan, welcome back to work. What do you do for work?

WW, there is also a Nashville in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Kentucky. Not sure about OTHER states as well, but yeah.

Was wanting to have a fire tonight. Low only 38°. Freakin' windy though.

Very cool vid. I was wondering where this guy was based as he was using imperial and metric measurements. As soon as he said eh? I realized he was a fellow Canuck. lol.

Im liking the show Banshee. A good mix of action and drama. Lots of good violent scenes but also a a good story plot so far.

There are a couple of easier to build designs floating around; MAKE and instructables come to mind - it is something I've looked into vis-a-vis 3d router copying wood scales.....but I really don't need to lust after any more tools; I really, really, really should use the multitude of them I already have. And clear a space for the 2x42 grinder I got (myself) for Christmas.

I keep thinking about shot show. I cant stop hoping to hear if Becker will be announcing anything new. I don't want to buy a BK24 or tweener micarta so I didn't get anything last year. I want to buy something this year. :)

I work for a major door and timber factory. I am a router operator, I do the windows cut outs, patterns and other shapes you see on doors with a computer operated router. After the door is routed, I have to clean each one with a good old fashioned chisel and sandpaper.

I have a buddy who was the son of the owner of a large fastener corporation in Sydney (not sure which one) but I know the company made screws, bolts, nuts and washers that sold almost exclusively to the government over there. When the company was sold he took a 3 month holiday to Dubai, LA, Chicago, Miami, and New York.
