It's snark in here.

Nice flashlights WW. I like Fenix too, I have a TK15 and a TK45, and I have an E01 on my keyring. That tritium is cool!

Does that TK45 blind you? LMAO i would like to see the RC40 in person. I have no need for one but id like to see how bright it is in person.

Yeah it's pretty bright :D I tested it on full power with the strobe on, and to see if it would keep someone away from you I tested it on my brother (with his consent) and he could not get close to me, I'd say a good 10 foot distance between us.

Plus it's good for spotting animals at night. I also have a rifle scope mount for the TK15, along with a pressure switch.

...and then, it hit me: nobody labels anything anymore....except for old men.

Well then, I'm an old man too. My wife is terrible about not labeling stuff and it drives me bonkers.

On the other hand, many years ago I had a landlord who took labeling everything to a whole new OCD level... case in point, he had a 5-gal bucket that he would carry misc tools and parts in. Which is perfectly normal - except he had written "BUCKET" on it with a bold magic marker

Not to mention it won't hold the gear I wanna take, haha.

Over the last decade or so I've taken to using smaller and smaller packs, to force myself to carry less gear. Not because I'm a minimalist, simply because I'm too lazy to carry all that crap :D

And there was a lot of scenery :D I kind of felt like a dirty old pervert.

If the shoe fits... :p I know though, it's weird. I get the same uneasy feeling whenever I venture near downtown (big college here in K-town). I have boots older than most of them college girls, never mind my scars :o

I don't know WTF *this* is, but it's A2 and it SCARES ME!

You're not lazy, you're "efficient". ;)

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting a Maxpedition Condor II to use as a day pack. Anyone have any trouble with them? (I did a search here, but I'm not gonna go through 50+ pages of snark :D)

I carry one quite a bit and really like it. With 12 or 15 pounds and water you forget it's on.

Good morning!
I've got the whole day off and only a half a day of honey do's.:)
With any luck I'll be done by noon and spend the rest of the day chillin'.:D

I'm a Fenix fan also. The LD12 is one of my favorite lights, although I've been using the Gunshack lights for a while, and those are pretty cool. I like that I can use AA or CR123 in them.

There's a Fenix e11 in my pocket at all times. Its an awesome flashlight and I use the heck out of it.

I received a new holster for my CW9 yesterday. I had been wanting to try a different one out and for the price I couldn't not try out this one. It is a Don Hume JIT Slide belt holster. For less than $30 delivered I didn't expect it to be such a nice holster. It fits the gun securely, holds it close to my side, and us easily concealed with just a sweatshirt. I believe it will become my main holster for this gun.

Yup ac700 me as well!! Its a great light!! Except normally mine is around my neck. A member here made me a kydex neck sheath for it and i love it.

And just got back from the post office. If your expecting a package from me it has been shipped :D

Wow ZZ that is indeed bull$hit bud!!

And 1977?... I wasnt even born yet :D How much did a nickel cost in your day ZZ? -snark.

A nickle cost....

A nickle. BUT!!!! They were made out of.... real nickle, not whatever debased alloy they now. And a nickle was worth a nickle.

Did you mean: nickel (google search of "nickle"). Sorry, It's my inner grammar cop. No wonder they wouldn't pay for college ;).
