That I do......I haul mail around to a few post offices. I will attempt to be careful when I head out again later. Its gonna be a long drive, but I intend to be home on my days off this week.

Spaghetti sounds really good right now and I don't have the munchies! I am pretty darn hungry though. I get to look forward to a truck stop breakfast sandwich made on a hamburger bun. Lol

Pretty cool man. I always liked the thought of having a job like that. I love being by myself and i always loved driving and taking road trips, and mostly for the drive. I use to hop in the car or truck and just drive by myself all over. Id leave florida and end up in the carolinas with no plan but to drive around and go home.

I'm like that too. Give me an open road and I'll gladly drive for hours on end.....getting paid for it makes it that much better. I dong venture more than a few hundred miles from home at this job, but I still like it. Some of this crap weather has started to get to me this winter....I'm very ready for spring, but still have 2.5 to 3 months of winter left.

I get a call once in a while from a few different farmers that need some grain hauled or something along those lines and usually jump at it for a change of pace for a day or two. Last spring I went down by Omaha Nebraska to pick up a new grain trailer for a farmer. I had fun with that and got to see part of the factory while I was down there..

Pertaining to yesterdays discussion, I'll take Coke over Pepsi most of the time, but either works for me. I'm mostly a Mt Dew drinker, but am trying my damnedest to quit drinking pop altogether. I've limited myself to 2 a day and so far its working pretty well.

Quitting a job can feel great for sure. After quitting my last job for this one, everyone still working there got a big fat raise. I got a really nice bump in pay coming to this job and let them know that's why I was leaving. That ended up pushing them to give everyone the nice raise.

Went for a little walk, the city is a lot quieter at 430am LOL. Nice night. 35 degrees or so and cloudy, so its chilly but there was barely any wind. Peaceful.

When I lived up in Oregon one of the apartments in the complex I lived in was rented out by some guys that did that as a place to crash. There was one guy in his sixties probably that I would chat with from time to time. One time in winter when there was a lot of ice on the roads one of the drivers forgot his key and offered me $10 just to drive him down the street to the motel 6. My old K5 made it the easiest $10 I ever made.

Anyone else seen the short video on Esee's facebook page of Ethan Becker talking about the Junglas knife?

There are actually a lot of companies that haul mail that have apartments or permanent hotel rooms rented for their drivers. Sometimes it would be nice to have, but I'm happy with climbing into the bed in the sleeper and crashing.

Had a helluva drive home, but o did make it back safely. We are in a blizzard warning right now, so the wind is blowing the snow around like crazy. There were times when I was down to 10mph trying to see the road.

Happy Thirtsday, you lunatics!

Jack Daniels is much better when mixed with Mexican Coke compared to normal Coke.

I've found the Colombian to be a bit crisper on the palate, and have a longer, smoother finish. Oh wait... you meant... never mind.

The higher-end JD offerings are quite nice, but I can't abide the regular stuff anymore. For a mid-shelf Tennessee whiskey, I'll take George Dickel #12 every time.
