If the 7 had the same tip as the 17 I would totally buy one. If the 7 had the same tip as the 2, I would buy 3.

If the 7 had the exact same tip as the 17 I would have a joygasm and possibly die.

7 is ~70$ x3 = 210$

BK12 is ~130$ so I just saved you 80$

LOL

Seriously. I LOVE the 7. I hate to say it but the 7 will likely be replacing my 9 for a lot of my carry-time. I dunno why but it really appeals to me.

I really think you'd like a Bushlore Dubz. They are getting much better on their grinds, but if you get a lousy one I'll regrind it for you gratis.
I think so too. There's been a thread about it on BCUSA. A guy had a problem, but it seems Condor is really getting their shit together quickly, and are taking care of things promptly. They're getting better machinery, from what I read. I may put my 17 up for trade today, see if I get any nibbles.

Seriously considering getting rid of my 4 as well. I have the king, so really don't need it, hmmm...

Ok, sooo I have been reading specs, and the BK-14 is 7 inches long total with a 3 inch long blade, that seems like it should be a 4 inch handle then, but I keep hearing people say they want a Izzy II handle on a 14. Isn't the Izzy II handle smaller than 4 inches ?

Did a few others...and the first stages of the 7 sheath is coming along nicely. Half of my problem in making a sheath for myself is trying to decide what color(s) of kydex I wanna use. They all look cool piled on the workbench. Im liable to just have ALL my sheaths be orange LOL I do love that color.

I'm still a fan of leather, but all of my kydex will be orange. I too, love that color.

On a totally unrelated note, I picked up a new bushcrafter style blade on the exchange today. Pretty psyched about that...

I may be wrong, but I believe the 14/11 blade is 3.5". *EDIT* It seems that I was wrong.

Ever have one of those days where everything you try is all effed up? I have more time and effort in this dang 7 sheath then I normally would have in five sheaths. I am running a fever tho, that's my excuse.

Works for me. ;)

It all worked out...

Thrillbilly, I hope you feel better.
Somebody get him some cowbell!

That turned out nice brother.

Thanks, it's OK. PITA making the prototypes, always 500% easier with 250% less screw-ups to make the second one, once you get it figured out on the first one.
The sheath is alright I guess. But it needs more cowbell.

Still debating on how I'm gonna make the belt loop portion. I want it removable, so I can fold the ring up and use it as a pack sheath or with a teklok. Im mainly trying to figure out how long I want the belt loop dangler. Have a strap thru it now, adjusting it to different lengths.

Very nice work T Billy! Like the kydex ring setup. Do you have any pics of it in use?
Thanks, eh
LOL it's like 20 minutes old man! Just a newborn....

I will finish it up, all the lil odds n ends, make a post with pics tomorrow, once I get it set-up the way I want.

still loving this BK7....
