Hey, cap.
If you know anyone that ties flies, that bunny skin+fur cut into strips, makes a mean streamer called a "zonker" just a thought about a use.

Capn that is awesome! Skinning rabbit in a dress... It certainly shows the diversity of Beckerheads.

We are a unique bunch. Its been warm out here so dresses and shorts got dug out of the dresser. Not a fan of the heat I like the low 70s the best

I'm not sure what to do with it yet. We'll see how it turns out. I'll probably post a thread somewhere with more pics if it goes well.

I love Carl Orf's work... Carmina Burana is one of my favorite operas. That and Dante's Inferno. They have that same style of dark, twisted, vibe.

We took my little 17 footer out to Lake Erie last night. We ended up with 27 cats. Most were 3-5 pounds with a few pigs mixed in. Got back in at 5am, tons of fun.

So I'm planning my trip to Custer State Park in SD, driving from MN. Anyone have any suggestions for must see stops along the way? Or while in the park. I'll be there 8-3 to 8-7, and this is an open invitation to any BH's who want to stop by the camp site.

check out Pipestone, Mn on the way out or back - it's about 45 minutes from Sioux Falls -- just inside the Mn border and a bit north of I-90. It's the only known place on the continent with the type of red stone used by native Americans to make pipes (and other red stone fetishes). the nat'l park site with the actual quarry has a cute museum/gift store and short nature walk.

Heading off to Boyscout camp wont be around much this week. Picked a few of my thornless blackberries they are just starting to rippen and they are huge. Good thing because its getting hard to find strawberries :)

if you end up with too many of those, I'd take some off your hands -- same with mulberries. I'll render them down into "drizzle" (thicker than syrup, thinner than jam and perfect on waffles.

good looking fish - great size to cook in the smoker with some fruit or nut wood. (mulberry, pecan, apricot, pear, etc...)

Rodney King is dead. boo freakin hoo.

I wonder if he ever apologized to the family of the trucker he got murdered on the streets in '91?

I can't seem to dredge up any sorrow for his passing.

LA riots.... now that was a nightmarish mess to be in. I wish I had know about machaxen way back then would have came in pretty handy for a day.

Two days in the scorching heat, but the boys brought home the hardware. My son hit me a home run for Father's Day. That's about as good as it gets.

My mom sent me a gallon of hand-picked wild blackberries. I had a giant bowl this morning. Mmmmmmm..... good.
