I have a snugpak that has been very nice. Goes down to just slightly bigger than a nalgene, rated at 36° at the extreme end, forty something for the comfort zone. I really have enjoyed it.

But if you're big, don't get it. I bought one, and couldn't even fit in it, haha. Gave it to my wife.

Picked up a couple of those 5x7 coated nylon tarps from smallfart today. They're not bad at all for ten bucks.

Dinner at work, Father's day leftovers.

Green would be better, but the blue ones aren't bad at all.
No they're not. I've never seen one in the local store, only online. I just looked on the site, couldn't even find the blue one, damn.

Well I had the old lady drop me off at a bridge today. I didnt know it was so hard to paddle down stream into the wind lol. Had a great time and burned the crap out of my legs! I also managed to not flip the kayak this trip! I saw a raccoon swimming and a huge owl kill something and only 2 other people in like 6 hours it was great.

Big is a matter of perspective. I am six foot, over 240 lbs, and I fit in one just fine. Having met Lowery in person, I think he would fit in one just fine.

I was wondering about it.....I'm 6'3" and around 270. I was looking at the Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Kilo bag, anybody used one of those? Derek, do you know which model yours is?

Chicago's legal limit for the blade is 2.5 inches. I want to find a fullsize fix blade with a blade that size so it is legal to carry.

Same problem here, but the limit is 3". This is exacly what drove me into knifemaking.

Im wanting a smaller pack. I have a Spec-Ops The Pack. Love it for a 3 day! It literally has been to hell and back with me. I want something bigger than a Camelback Mule and smaller than an assualt pack. I think the Rush 12 would be right, but its a lot of money for a gamble.

I'm 6'2", 285, and I couldn't fit. Damn shame too, really nice bag.
