I'm 6'2", 285, and I couldn't fit. Damn shame too, really nice bag.
Im wanting a smaller pack. I have a Spec-Ops The Pack. Love it for a 3 day! It literally has been to hell and back with me. I want something bigger than a Camelback Mule and smaller than an assualt pack. I think the Rush 12 would be right, but its a lot of money for a gamble.
Do you know which model it was that you got? Did it not fit you in length, width or both?
It was a Snugpak Sleeper Lite. Weight: 56 oz Length: 86"Chest: 60"Pack Size: 9" x 9" Comfort temperature: 32 F Low temperature: 18 F."
Length was fine, I couldn't get it to fit around my shoulders.
They also make an expanda panel, that adds an extra 19-20 inches in the chest area, but damn, they're like $50-89 for the panel. They make a summer, or winter panel. I couldn't justify the extra expense, but turns out, they didn't make them for the Sleeper Lite anywhos.Thanks. I may try one out but this definitely helps the decision making process.

I actually wrote the company to make sure, they said it was a no go. I needed to buy another sleeping bag anywhos, so I was kinda leaning toward getting the panel. Oh well, worked out anyways. I ended up getting a North Face Bighorn. It fits me fairly well, but I've never used it. It's attached to my bug out bag. I bought one of those OD military compression sacks for it. My wife bought me a coleman sleeping bag about 5 years ago, rated 0°. Really nice for camping, but way too heavy for backpacking.Well that figures.....this was one of the other bags that I was looking at. Don't think I'll try it after all.

EDIT: BTW, here's a thread I started about sleeping bag help: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/916077-Sleeping-Bag-Help?p=10387300#post10387300
EDIT 2: Here's the compression sack I bought: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ompression-Stuff-Sack?p=10561575#post10561575
EDIT 3: Here's the email I received from Snugpak: "I am afraid that the expanda panels are only suitable for use with the following Snugpak sleeping bags: Softie range with the bird names, the Premier and Tactical range and the Special Forces range".
Thanks, that helps a lot.
I was wondering about it.....I'm 6'3" and around 270. I was looking at the Snugpak Softie Chrysalis Kilo bag, anybody used one of those? Derek, do you know which model yours is?
That's me too. I'm wanting something between the Condor II and the Lunada.
Congrats MikeyJ! It's great to see someone finding employment quickly.
Does it need to be double strap, or are you like me and you dont mind the single strappers for smaller packs?
I have a Maxped Sitka Gear Slinger that I was thinking about selling, unused pretty much. Good bag, just overbuilt for my needs.
Thanks, mrn8! It's been about 6 months, but for 4 of those, I was finishing school, so I wasn't actively looking. I ended up getting on at one of the hospitals I did my ICU rotation at. I feel truly blessed.
