What a pleasure to capture. Each one is visual at all angles.

Try as I might, my bright lighting tends to wash out some of the details: Specifically, the nicely tumbled finish on the hideout and the hunter. VERY suitable.

As fine a set of knives in the Loveless tradition that I have handled. Superb.

Best of fortunes with these, David. Thanks so much for the opportunity to show them. You ought to be proud.

Jim

Obviously, I'm quite partial to the Dixon.

It felt great in the hand, looking forward to having it back in hand.

Great job on the piece, David, you have top notch skills, and thanks for the great photo, Coop!

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

David,

Absolutely superior! It's difficult to get a real feel for the alternate finish, at first blush I like it, but I suppose

it has to be seen and turned in the hand to get the "sensation". Perhaps a short video would make the decision easier.

All the best, Jeff

Awesome work, David. Impressed, for sure. That DP hunter really stands out to me.

STeven, you have made a Dixon fan out of me.

So happy to hear that, Roger.

I love the fact that Mike Lovett was the first one to point out the Dixon to me, and love the pattern.

Getting other people excited about it(and the Hideout), and hopefully ordering them will eventually make it as much a part of Loveless vernacular as "Wilderness" or "New York Special". I love the NYS, but it is a tiny knife, and to me, the Hideout is so much more practical, attractive and desirable.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I do have to thank both STeven and David for suggesting the HO, I originally had ordered a NYS but they both urged me to go with the HO and I am glad I did :)

It has a very nice handle for what I would call a small knife and feels great.

As soon as the weather cools down and I can start wearing a sport coat it will be my EDC

Well...thanks for all the kind comments. All I can say is that when I started making knives I dreamed of having my stuff photographed by the above photographer (a poke at Jim).

These were part of my second year knife making project and the end of my first year making Loveless patterns. When I started to mull over the idea of actually making a knife all of you here in the C&HK provided the inspiration by showing the best of the best. I have a ton to learn and am loving every minute.

Thanks everybody!

I'm hiring a thug to find you and Stuart Branson and break your guys' fingers and stuff!

:p

Top shelf stuff David... so very nice!!! :)

ah, so glad i found this thread. That LSCF Hideout is amazing. I wish i could make it to the CCKS this year, or maybe i'll have to find a proxy. Look forward to seeing more pictures, and hopefully getting one of your knives soon.
