Well...that settles it. I was just trying to decide; get a CG and strip it or spend the extra on the LE. Now I know! Thanks.

Nice. That's what I was hoping to accomplish. There's no reason to spend the money on an LE if all you want is a semi satin user.

Very impressive looking  , but I thought that Busse logo would be gone. Is it etched into the blade?

Holy crap! That is one sexy MF'er - what is all that luscious satin action doing hiding under that crinkle coat??!?!

Since all my INFI is stripped and my BJLE is on it's way, you've inspired me to go polish another one of my Bahco axes.

If It's gonna be a user anyway, strip it. Looks better than ragged coating, IMO. Reduces friction in cutting some materials. Easier to clean after a field day.

For my own situ, I agree w/ CR33, and began to sell my CG blades, and buy only bare.

By the Buy, look for a CF BWM, cheapest bare finish, and available regularly on the EXHG.

I've only been buying satin blades but the BJ was a want more than a need and the LE was outside of my budget. I couldn't pass so I went with a CG intending to strip it. I guess I got lucky.

Niiiice! If more future Busses look that finished under the coating then things are gonna be very interesting indeed...:D

Well you convinced me, I just bought a can of stripper! I'll try to post some pics tomorrow :D

The knife looks great! I just got a desert tan esee 4 that i want to strip but it's got not even a scratch. If there are any pics of stripped knives i would love to see.
