Foamboard, that looks awesome -nice work

I'm considering stripping my BJack. Did the blade require additional finishing or is that a chemical stripper finish only?

Any significant rust issues with a stripped finish other than the very obvious?
(I've used the search function plenty but can't seem to nail down info on the "decarb" layer issue that is mentioned often -perhaps someone here wouldn't mind sharing information. Thanks in advance )

Seems ok the way it is...

But sounds like you like to tinker with your knives...so it'd be a good winter project.

It's your knife to carry...so I guess I am on the fence...

I thought I addressed this, but guess not. Being a full convex zero edge blade, it was already quite polished after just a chemical stripping. It did take a good amount of hand sanding to get it to a mirror finish. I was actually quite happy with the shine of just the stripped knife. The hand polishing makes a big diff though. And no, with infi there are zero rust issues. I have torx screws in the slas now so I can remove them periodically. So far no rust under the handle either.
