That's the first serious criticism I've heard for RR. I don't have any.I've bought a handful of carbon-bladed Rough Ryders, but haven't actually carried any of them yet. Lady Luck put this Scout into my hand today. I picked up two of these knives a couple of months back, intending to give one away, but both knives had vertical blade play, and poor walk and talk. I returned the worst of the two, and kept this one, which has found its way into my pocket today

I've probably bought a couple of hundred of them Jer, including several of their older stainless Scout models, and I've not had a problem with any of them before, nor have any of the folks I've given them to. It's a shame, as the carbon Scout is quite a nice knife otherwise I thinkThat's the first serious criticism I've heard for RR. I don't have any.

Thanks Tom!I have really been enjoying the Jack & Jer show on Tuesdays, so I thought I might try to join in. The random number generator told me to choose the 1st drawer of 3, and then told me to choose the 14th of 25 knives in that drawer - the wee Ideal jack knife you see here. I just posted a picture of it yesterday, too…
