Jack's Random Tuesday Carry

They also sent me 3 different Swedish Army Knives, one of the fancy laminated steel models, which I gave to Duane sitflyer sitflyer about a decade ago, and their UK importer sent me a nice Wetterlings Axe :)

LOL! :D Nice Hammer Brand Jer :)
You must be thinking of this one Jack Black Jack Black

it is an incredibly sharp knife.

I had some friends visiting Paris a few years back, and they offered to bring me back a knife. Ideally, I wanted a traditional French pattern, in carbon steel, and Jolipapa Jolipapa was a huge help in terms of this Issard Violon eventually being delivered into my grateful hands :) I always mean to carry it more, and Lady Luck seems to be encouraging me to do so ;)

Thanks. The Pradel and the queue de poisson seem to be the only styles that Sabot makes in carbon. I wonder if they have cranks like us over there who insist on it for these two patterns.
LOL! :D Yes, it seems to be a similar situation with the Spanish and Italian cutlers :( The only Sabot I have is this Vendetta

I was dealt an unusual Lambsfoot today, two bolsters, a file-worked back-spring, and pre-ban ivory covers. I picked this up a few years back, but have only carried it a few times

Those ivory covers look very nice! I'm sure they look even better in real life.
