Jack's Random Tuesday Carry

Nice one! Those are great old knives, never mind that I couldn't wait to get something more expensive.

This large sodbuster is a perfect bathrobe knife. Easy to carry, retrieve, and handle.
It would be a good yard knife, too, but I never think of it, which makes it extra random.
Same here Jer! :D I love those Case Sodbusters, though I only have the Junior, which is enough for me I reckon :D

I re-built this plastic-handled Mikov several years ago, and don’t think I’ve carried it since I did. Today it bubbled up from the bottom of the “random knives and embarrassingly amateurish projects” drawer…

Wow, that's really cool Tom, well done

This turned up in my 'odd and large" tin when I was looking for something else.

From the Geneva Antique Co-op in Geneva, NY. I almost didn't buy it because of the broken hawksbill, but I can use it for a screwdriver and break it some more!

That's a beauty.
It reminded me of this one, which is plain carbon, judging by its grubby color.

Also Italian, probably also by Maserin, we've said.
Thanks Jer :) It does look like Maserin doesn't it, they seem to make quite a lot of knives on contract, even for firms in Germany and the UK, as well as the USA. I have had quite a few of their knives over the years, this one being the first not sure what the steel is, but it's stainless

One of the very first pics I took for this forum (and my first in that style!) :D
