January 2022 Buck of the Month - The 55 S35VN Red Canvas Micarta

cool version of the 55, but im not a 55 guy...gonna pass. see its moving pretty fast so far. 330 left last I checked.

can't wait to see how the red looks in y'alls who grabbed one.

210 sold in 1 hour. I'm also trying to convince myself I don't want it. I do have the 2020 February 55 with S30V and Granadillo wood with nickel silver bolsters. It also came with a black leather pocket sheath and the cool Pine Box.
 
Just got in from a hike, saw the email, and ta-dah! a nice knife, a good price, and some left... I didn't miss this one after all. Might have bought two but one of the grands doesn't like red, and I've already got too many things on order (it's only the 13th day of the year... I'm hopeless).

The Forever Question ! (Said in a booming god like voice). Nothing against you ncnurseryman, this question is asked every month.

When in "Checkout" / Cart, put a large number, such as 999, into the "Quantity". It will then say how many are left and that you can not order that many.

Like so - 296 sold in 3 hours.

Weak. I am weak with no willpower.

I knew I had purchased a 55 stag (very thick scales) from C&C (in 2018). I forgot that I had a 55 February 2020 BOTM: Granadillo Wood, Satin S30V Clip Point, Nickel Silver Bolsters,1 of 180 made! Then I realized that I had a Hitch & Timber 55 slip case! None of these have been carried or used.

So, two 55s with a couple of slip cases. Obviously I do not need another 55! On order: one January 2022 BOTM and one "standard" 420HC ebony 55 (for carry). (160 left as I type.)

The kicker is when I was digging for the stag 55s to take a look, I found my October 2021 BOTM 500 Duke Ironwood, stainless barehead bolster that I had forgotten about. Then it came back to me. I was disappointed when I first saw it and immediately stowed it away forgetting about it. After seeing it tonight, I have no idea why I was disappointed - it is an awesome knife!
