January 2022 Buck of the Month - The 55 S35VN Red Canvas Micarta

I like the 55.
I just never carry any of mine.
I like the older walnut ones.

I look forward to seeing all your pics when you get them. A deep burgundy micarta would be cool.
 
I have a Walnut too and it really is fantastic. I'm a 501 guy though so my 503 sized 55 gets overlooked half the time. Same with my 112 for the 110. I'm going to change it up though. I've been carrying the 112 more and I'll do the same with the 55. I think it will perform trout surgery pretty well. Fishing season is just around the corner.
 
Posting some older pics of my stag 55 420HC just to tide me over until the BOTM one arrives. The scales are well matched and pretty thick on this one. I am pretty stoked for this BOTM! I don't know why I was hesitating to buy one... (Oh yeah, lack of money.) Also, a 110 Ultimate Hunter Limited Edition for size comparison.

Has anyone received this BOTM yet? Mine still has not shown as shipped, which is odd for a BOTM. If you have received one, please post pictures.
 
Just rechecked: Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item...

Edit: Made it to Spokane last night and the item is currently in transit to the destination.

it was just on the news here that usps is having problems in post falls because of covid---dont know if that is going to affect delivery of these or not...
 
weird---i have never seen this before---it looks like it is at the main hub and might make the metro station tomorrow and delivery should be tomorrow...
new people dont always know how to scan what code they should be scanning. blame it on covid!!!!

Mine has departed Spokane as well, due tomorrow. Sounds about right ("normal"). Like it was mentioned in the other thread, now I hope they get it all together that fast on our orders for the "new stuff" :cool::thumbsup:
