I watched the vid.My point was what good did posting the vid do?You or CRK don't know what or if there is a problem.
A lot of feedback as expected..
No one wants to see a $400 knife slip through the cracks of QC, but we're all human.
For those who are upset about the video and it's comments...
I think we should all sit tight and see what CRK has to say about the issue rather than continue flaming the video, the knife, and it's comments.
Obviously many will find any excuse to put down CRKs and many who will defend CRK blindly. Not to say this is everyone, but I think we can all agree these people exist.
Again, I hope CRK takes care of the issue.
I love my Sebenza, but I have heard more than a few times of Mr. Reeves attitude while dealing with "issues" not being the most tame.
Nonetheless, I like his knives.
We're all here to share the hobby!
I just think a few more tests should be performed with various materials. Its always good to double check and make sure the results are conslusive.
I enjoy watching your vids and don't believe theres any ill will in making this vid. I would like to see how an S30V sebbie performs with the same test.
I wouldn't mind lending mine for the cause![]()
There's been quite a bit of these quality control problem threads lately. All my crks are gone or on there way out the door anyway.
See this is what is what I mean.I am not saying you singled out the knife or that there isn't a problem. Why post a "test" with so much unknown?
Posting a vid like that people will jump to conclusions without all the info. Do you think the knife is in spec or defective?
He wasn't representing the knife as indicative of the brand. It was a fluke and QC problems get through all the time.
Showing knives with faults is just as important, (if not more) as showing the top of the line, perfect examples of any brand.
See this is what is what I mean.I am not saying you singled out the knife or that there isn't a problem. Why post a "test" with so much unknown?
What is unknown is two things
1 Is there a problem or is that knife in spec?
2 If there is a problem what is it?
There is a reason when something is tested more than one sample is used.
CTS I am not against you I just wonder why post a vid when you think the knife is not up to spec?
