Jim Dunlap knives

I just had Jim make me my first custom. Got it around the end of july. A 3.5" Shadow swayback. Jim was the nicest guy to deal with and the end result was beautiful. Couln't have asked for anything more!

Jerry, nice shadow Gent's knife. Here is my only shadow Gent's, (Jim is building me one with carbon fibre)

Jerry and Charles, I love those Gent's! That Damascus beauty is the cat's meow, Charles!

Thanks Charles and Gary. Jim builds a really nice slipjoint. The pull is pretty light but suits me. It's very petite with a really slender blade, reminiscent of a quill knife.

A nice 3 1/4" with a clip blade and camel bone that I picked up off of Jim's table at the November Tulsa show. Charles

Thanks Jeff. This one is my first camel bone knife as well. I have some other knives Jim made for me that I'll post as soon as John gets the photos finished.

Here is a light weight CF in my favorite small gent's pattern that Jim built for me.

Here is a special W/T Jim built for me with ebony. This knife is 3" closed.

Beautifully done Trapper, do you have a photo of the spine and is this piece special because it's only 3" long?

Jeff

That's a fine looking little WT, Charles. I like the small ones myself.

Sorry I do not, John still has the knife at the moment. Special to me cause it is the same closed length as all the gent's I've had built.

Charles

Nice collection of Dulap Knives, Charles. I just bought my first one, and I really like it. I'd like to get more of his.
