Jim Dunlap knives

Yep, just adore Jim's work  :)

The Lanny clip below is the oldest and has been fair used, but boy, what a lovely knife to use.

The dyed giraffe bone is a gentac, as the c-f one too, both with characters of their own

image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgHere's a little Sway-back I just received from Mr. Jim Dunlap. I'm getting pretty into his knives. This makes number 3, and I'm back on his list for another. I can't say enough about this little beauty. Excellent pull, close, fit and finish. My photos, never do justice, but here it is.
Blade (CPM-154 SS) Spring (155 SS) Mammoth Scales. 3-1/4" closed.

You all have some beautiful knives listed. BTW, Idahoguy, that Ivory and end caps on yours, is awesome!

Some great knives being posted built by a great maker. Thanks for posting everybody.

Jim has not backed away from a knife build challenge I have presented him yet. I have posted this beauty before, but here is Jim's first tortoise shell knife with gold foil.

Charles, I think my next one will have to have end caps. Love that tortoise shell. Yep, you have some beauties in your collection. Thanks for showing.

My Peanut is done and will be on its way tomorrow! Now I have to wait patiently till the 22nd to get it. Will post up pics then!

Don't think I've seen a Dunlap peanut. Congrats SA, looking forward to the pictures and see what you had made up. I'll be getting another but haven't made up my mind exactly on what to get.

Here's a picture of my Peanut that Jim uploaded to Instagram

Can't wait for it to get here!

Very nice. I like that electric blue carbon fiber. Jim has built me a Schrade Wrangler with that material downsized to 3" that I will pick up in April at the Tulsa show.

Nice one. I have the same knife, except in red g10. It's my every day carry in dress slacks. Jim is a very nice man, hope you get a chance to meet him.
