Thanks myke, whole family's down sick right now though, kind sucks cause we really enjoy the fall festivals and stuff but can't do any of it right now. :(

Thanks for posting the picture to!

2 have scales attached and are waiting to be shaped on the sanding disk, the rest are waiting to have there scales attached, moving along nicely

handles are just about don, well there on to the lasts stage anyway, finish sanding up to 600 grit and steel cleaning up to the same, time to start thinning about sheaths and beads :)

second batch underway

Rover in osage and Brass, little more clean up to do but it's the first in the finished station :)

JDS1's Pocket rocket in the vice

all but 2 handles finished, then on to beads and sheaths, pictures tomorrow afternoon, have to be out the house early tomorrow to gets am to school and myself to work...the other work :)

Your Amendoin box is in transit!!

I will be pleased to see you use some of that wood - I think it is beautiful. I tried to cut it so that you can use some of the cool knots in it to further embellish your awesome scales.

This is my LRK+ that JK made of the Amendoin - and you may recognize the lanyard - one of your early pieces.

Still LOVING this thread. Very enjoyable to watch the progress. Makes me want another.

Since today is my day off I took my family down to my parents house and got another lobster to snack on. Fried this time. So yummy.

Salt does the dirty work.

i forget whcih ones whcih without my notes, there are a few pocket kings though in walnut and osage

I think you have Sam and Iris doing all the work, your hands look way too clean!

NO! my sweat shop has been discovered! :)

I got the chance to wash them before these pictures, any dirt you see is permanent, or at least won't be moved by soap or elbow grease, have to wait till it wears off :D

ill try to do better in future

Just to check, this is what I have in my notes

Joel (3 knives) with belt loops and bead landyards
Jeff with no sheath or landyard
melahn 52 with bead landyard and sheath
thurin with no landyard but with a sheath

You are welcome Pete!

I packed that little box as full as I could - it was a 5 pounder!

I look forward to seeing you craft up something out of that hardwood.
