It came down to the wire but our playoff bracket is finally decided, Thunderballs made it in with a convincing with over Deflategate, San Jose also made it through by thoroughly beating the muffins. Some terrible kicking, some great runs, some by quarterbacks (mariota!), made for an exciting and yet still vexing NFL season. Everyone still has something to play for but moving forward bench and roster decisions get a little more interesting.
Good luck to all,
San Jose, IL Belduques (144 Vs English Muffins(87)
So he was late, let the man play you Lacy hating bastards! Not that it would have mattered, CJ Anderson went down with another ankle injury and TY Hilton finally suffered from Hasslebackitus in a very lonely looking defeated for the colts to Pittsburg. Not a great foreshadowing for the playoffs for the Muffins, as their bench outscored their starting lineup (!).) They get to face San Jose again this week in the first round, a chance for redemption, maybe? Good job they didnt show much signs of life this week either
oh, wait, they did. Crap. Brandon Marshal continues to be the most underrated top 5 wr this year everyone else did enough while Buck freaking Allen (Buck.FREAKING.Allen) went off for 34 points. Langford struggled now playing a purely backup role to Matt forte again ti seemed, other then that, the San Joess look to be peaking at the right time.
Stoney Jabronies (167) Vs Texas Pugs (133)
The Pugs fought well this week again but they fell short of taking down the resurgent Jabronies, I dont know if its much of a consolation but because the Badgers won as well, the loss did not matter, the Pugs couldnt get into the main playoff bracket. Sorry pugs, but they also seem to be putting up good numbers for the consolation bracket so its not all lost. For the Jabronies
Cam Newton, okay Lamar Miller can only get 11 point out of a 20 touch workload this week which was disappointing but cam newton can cover up a lot of problems and Delaine Walker
he seems good enough to fill in for Gronk dont ya think? Dispite Matt Ryans struggles Julio Jones continues to be a solid play to say the last. The Jabronies were also the highest scoring team this week and havesecured a first round BYE week for the playoffs.
Bush Did Deflategate (94) Vs MX Thunderballs(135)
Adrian Peterson was bottled up y the seahawks this week and helped to
well
deflate the states of the BDDs this week while the Thunderballs got another all star game from Antonio brown and great production from the rookie David Johnson. Jay Cutler proved to be a bust this week for them but Greg olsen went for 20 and even the Bengals D heped out the stuff wrs.The BDDs fall just short of the playoffs, but a mad Adrian Peterson might help out in the consolation bracket, while the Thunderballs continue to rumble into week 1 of the payoffs.
Sanchez Butt-Fumbles (104) Vs The Honey Badgers (123)
The Honey badgers won themselves some higher seeding in the playoff with this week 13 win and its hard to see much upside for the Fumblers. Maybe it was the name? I dont know. The rbs are great, the wrs lok nice as well, constantly flawed qb and te play seems to have been this teams soft underbelly, fortunately they are foten the easiest problems to fix as the Fumbelrs try to salvage something from the season in the post consolation bracket world. Still, its always fun to watch odell beckham and know all those points are yours, right? Blount disappointed this week for the badgers but they probably dont mind that so much, they have rb depth, and the pitsburger passing game sure means a lot to their QB. On the other hand the fact sanders and Thomas dont seem to be able to both do with Oswieler might cause the badgers some trouble in the post season, hard to bet against them though.
Jackhammer (119) VS Kentucky Aardvarks (146)
The Aardvarks secured their place atop the division and their first round BYE for the playoffs with a solid win over the struggling Jackhammers. The Jackhammers may be pleased to see that Tom Brady can throw passes to anybody and put up big numbers but outside of another great game for Macclin and a return to form by the Broncoes D, there wasnt anybody on the roster to help out
.still outscored the muffins though, so thats nice. Similarly the Aardvarks must be happy to see Russell Wilson get it together at this point in the season for successive games and Allen Robinson continues to be a stud
Todd Gulry may be the weakest part of the roster at this point
which just doesnt make sense, does it? Probably just a misprint.
Well, thats all folks, good luck this week and enjoy the time off for the lucky two with BYEs.
