JK gift exchange

Happy Holidays to everyone. I wish I knew of this gift exchange before now that it was closed, because I would've loved to participate in it. Being an S3-S5 incomplete paraplegic little things brighten my days. I do live on a very tight budget these days, but I'd love to be able to participate....
Any chance that could happen?
Let me know..
And may everyone have his hunts this year.

Welcome Jimarruda! Welcome to Blade forums and particularly to the forums best sub-forum, the JK Handmade Knives area!
I neglected to join the Gift exchange this year also. These guys in this JK forum are great folks and are VERY GENEROUS!
Hope to see you post more! B

Welcome! Too late for this year, but stick around, lots of stuff going on here.

mine will be heading out tomorrow.
I found a bigger box that ships for less, so I got to add more treats.

Finally got mine out today...

It took a little effort but I have my box taped and ready to ship. It should go out tomorrow.

Just received an unexpected package in an Amazon box. I thought to myself, "I haven't ordered from Amazon..."

I opened the stuffed box and their was a nice note inside from Kalibr906. Its a list of the presents he gave me.

I have to say I am beyond thankful for these gifts. Thanks man! Ill get some pictures tonight and post them here tomorrow.

Thanks again Jacob. These awesome gifts are very well received and will be used with love and appreciation. :D:thumbup:

I put as much cool stuff as I could in there for ya. Thought you would be able to find a use for it all. I'm glad your enjoying it thus far.

My gift was mailed today. Hope you enjoy opening as much as we enjoyed choosing and packing.

I did receive my package the other day, but haven't opened it quite yet...

Got some pics of my awesome presents.

My two youngest boys loved the bear and moose knitted dolls. The bear already has a name, Georgie. The moose hasn't gotten his name yet. I already have the great little flashlight on my key ring.
I received my first Opinel! I look forward to putting this guy to use. I also got a neat kitchen knife that actually belonged to Jacob's (Kalibr906) grandfather. I truly appreciate that knife and will use it with love.
The beer barrel bourbon is so awesome! Thanks man. It will definitely get 'used' well. :p I think ill pop the top at the family Christmas get-together and then again on New Years.
I also really like the naturally polished rocks from the Great Lakes. This will be about as close as ill ever be to those bodies of fresh water, so they are very cool.
Ill get some use out of the Frog Lube as well. Ive heard great things about it, but haven't got to try it out yet.

Thanks again for everything Jacob. A lot of thought went into these gifts and I appreciate all of them. Just to see my two boys face light up with those knitted dolls was more than I could have asked for.

heefageLA, I am so happy you enjoy the gift I had a ton of fun putting it together. Wait until you try the hot sauce, it's one of my favorites. I usually pair it with a more vinegar style like Franks or Trappeys. That was the first Opinel I had ever handled so I was sad to see it go, will have to pick myself up one soon. The kitchen knife was a little project for me. It was in a bag of all the knives I collected as they were clearing out my grandpas stuff. I got some practice on my little Lansky sharpening system and then I used some fine grit sandpaper on the whole thing and oiled it back up. Glad to hear that the boys liked the little stuffed dolls. They had integrated into the army of them my fiancé has made but were made specifically for you guys so enjoy. At least you made no mention of my "awkward" packaging techniques though my terrible handwriting is now out there.

Don't think I'm bragging about this gift....just sharing a pic of an awesome knife:thumbup: I didn't know BHK
ever made a folder. I had to do a little research to find out how rare these are. Thanks again "Santa"

HoHoHo, you're welcome William.:)
I believe they were made by Queen and the blade is D2.
I'm glad you like it as my gifting options were pretty slim this year.:o
