JK group gift exchange

got mine in the mail today "From: Santa"

thanks, Santa! I'll be saving it till Christmas though :(

I really have to get moving on send mine, last final exams today so hopefully I'll be able to get all the grades wrapped up and sent in, finished...without complaint...it may be Saturday before I rememebr again, sorry hoss
 
i haven't been home in 2-3 days. went home tonight and found all my amazon shipments for Christmas on my front steps. little did i realize that my JK gift was mixed in with them (also Amazon box). ok, so i kinda realized, but i pretended i didn't. :D

i was in a real hurry to get out the door, but man, i got some really cool stuff. thanks Santy. this weekend, i will post some pics.

P.S. what are the odds that i am the secret santa of my secret santa??

I'm about 50 miles south of Memphis, and all our mail goes there for sorting.
 
Cute "Dog" you have there but I hope nobody sends me one for Xmas ~~ what are you going to feed it now that you have one for a Xmas Exchange present..?? WOW..! Never thought of sending a live animal for a present.! Hope you enjoy the cute little buggar though.
 
Mine should be In the mail next week I am just waiting for one item to get delivered before I send it out.

Well, my gift arrived. The gift I'm giving did not. I guess I'll be testing priority delivery dates when I get back from visiting family next week. Sigh...
 
Ok fellas. I opened my box from rdrogers Friday evening and was blown away by what was inside.
It was a freakin' JK ! I cant believe he gifted me this fine knife wrapped in beautiful burl, but he did, and I am at a loss for words how happy I am.

Now, I feel like I need to add about a dozen more things to my gift box to make up for this great gift.

To put my happiness in perspective, the misses actually got a bit jealous because I couldn't shut up about how awesome this gift is! :p
She said, "So, if I just buy you ANOTHER knife every Christmas will you always be this excited?"
I said, "If its a JK, then Yes." :D

John, im a bit confused on the model and the wood. Please chim in and educate me.
It looks to be a variation of the Nessmuk or CBK.

The burl wood has a shimmer to it that changes as the lights reflects off of it.

Thankyou very very much rdrogers. Im beyond happy to receive this as a gift.

Thought it was a Baby CBK, but I am unsure as to what the scales are made of.

Edit: I wasn't aware of an "edc" version. Is there much of a difference between the two?
