...the first things that come to mind are "Camel's Hump" (mountain in vermont...humpback handle...WICKED clever...barf) and "The Northfield." that is where i hunted this year....Northfield, VT (mostly). that is a more sophisticated name, i suppose.
I don't want to be a broken record, but i am really loving this knife. here she is just sailin' through taters.
thanks John. funny you mention, i was looking for a good pic to put in your picture thread, and sadly, i couldn't find one. you, of course, have my permission. i'll work on a name.Glad it`s working out well for you! If you get some really nice photos of it, and give it a name, I`m sure it will make it into my line for 2013. (with your permission, of course).
Given that you were the first to bring this to my attention (I've subsequently extracted the audio and created ring tones, yes I have), and in light of the above Tater duty, may I suggest:
Mogno
Acvodad
Sirl

i have thought of just calling it the Vermonter...or perhaps the Green Mountain Hunter. The Vermonter sounds better, i guess. it is hard for me to go with that because that is the name that everyone gives everything around here for the tourists. but, it is a good name, i suppose. How about the Vermont Hunter? I was thinking it should be a Vermonter.

Whatever you end up naming this knife is what I will be adding to my 2013 JK Wish List.
Jeff
nice pictures, sheath looks as awesome as the knife, and there's always time to make a right handed version![]()
thanks Sean. That really turned out great. Good lines and nice sheath (even if it is wrong handed)
Cool!I'll be gettin' one!
Jeff
Thanks, but I'm right handed too.
Jeff
I love everything about it. Especially the proper handed sheath.I'm back! And yup...still love this knife. I have been using it around the kitchen. I can't wait to take it outside and use it.
I was trying to get at least one non-blurry picture for John. I think this one came out the best....

I labelled the pics as JK Vermont Hunter. So, i guess that's what i am calling it. Though...John, if you choose to add it to your lineup, feel free to call it "The Vermonter" or whatever else you like.
Oh...and the sheath is done too.

Looking good Todd!
Vermont Hunter is good - then you can call it the VTH for short.
I love the ironwood.
The more I look at it, the more I am thinking Vermont Sharpfinger. ;^)
