Let me know What I need to bring, I have two stoves and a good supply of cooking gear. a canopy and at least two tents, and some chairs I can bring for the group.

Cool - glad to hear you can make it. I would say bring along the stoves and the cooking gear, we can work out the food list in the following week or so. A canopy would be great also, thanks for offering to bring this stuff.

I've got a couple of chairs I can bring also.
 
I forgot to ask.

I Have a freind or two who want to come is that okay, both are experienced campers.
 
If someone can put together a list of what we need, I will try to see what I can bring.
I might have a 10x10 canopy. Will that be a helpful start?
I am certain that I have a few cooler chests of various sizes.
The folding chairs that I have are "sand chairs" (the low ones) but they beat sitting on the ground.
I have a couple of battery lanterns and a lantern stand.
I have a couple of fry pans and a pot or two.
All in all, let me know what is needed and I will see what I can pull together.

Looks like we've got between 8-10 people depending on how many you bring with you.

I can bring all the water we'll need and will also bring coolers to keep it all cold.

Anyone have a rack to grill on over the fire?

I have a small foding grill for over the fire, and a Mini weber that I usually bring along, if nothing else we can use the grill from it over the fire.

The friend I was planning to bring May be going camping in CT that weekend so I will probably be solo.

If there is anything else we need let me know
 
Horrible news fellas.

I found out tonight that I have to work the weekend of the trip. I can't get out of it. It's a pretty big deal and something I need to be there and can't rely on my backup to take care of it for me.

Needless to say that I'm pretty pissed because this was going to be my last trip for a while since I have a baby on the way in a few weeks. I was VERY excited to be going on this trip. Camping is going to take a back seat to baby, of course.

Anyway - I have the permit for the site at my house. I sent the payment for it a few weeks ago and it's all paid for. Consider the payment for the reservations a gift from me.

I need someone that will be there on Friday to give me their info so I can get the permit in the mail to them so you will guys can have it. I will also provide the site # to that person and anyone that is attending that either PMs me or emails me.

UGH - I get more and more pissed the more I think or talk about it.

I'm not going to tap out with the planning, but it may help if someone attending actually does a bit more of the planning.
 
Sorry To hear You cant make it. at this point I do intend to go there friday night but I am coming from NJ and leaving work around 4pm so Im not sure what time I will be getting there.

As For Food I will be glad to bring saturday breakfast, I will bring eggs potatoes and sausage.


I also Keep instant oatmeal and Pancake mix in my camp food box so I have that For sunday if no one else wants to do sunday bfast, or if someone wants something else on saturday.
 
OH CRAP I JUST FOUND OUT I Have TO Take My EMT REFRESHER THIS WEEKEND. I CANT MAKE IT!!!! THIS SUCKS MOOSE NUTS!!!
We have to try this again mabey later in the summer or this fall.
 
I can't make it now. I was in for Sat/Sun. Been laid up with back problems (sucks)
going to be a few weeks from what the doctor says. hope to make it to a
future gathering.
To borrow emsguys' phrase. back problems just suck moose nuts
 
Wow - this seems like it's falling apart quick. I paid $60 for the permit, I hope someone can go and use it.....
 
I will Reimburse you 20$ For your Trouble, Or Volunteer to Foot the permit Bill For the next gathering in the area. Shoot me an email with your address.
 
How about we call this off officially and divide the permit cost to reimburse myright. There seems to be nine of us on the list and it's not fair that he take the hit. What does that come down to...about $7 each? Any other thoughts?

On a more positive note, we can reschedule this for a "cooler" time of year :-)
 
Is anyone else still planning to go? I'm still able to make it, though I might not be able to arrive until late Friday or very early on Saturday.
