great question... it cost about what you would imagine, and took me all 6 years to save enough to purchase it! I'd tell you how much, but I'm afraid my wife would see this post and I just got married and don't care to be single so soon.

It is so beautiful in person too- i'm afraid to touch the blade right now, much less cut something. I'm sure I'll get over it, but right now I'm just enjoying staring at it in my living room.

I haven't decided yet. I own a few knives made by him and I have definitely renaissanced the crap out of them, but I just don't want to mess with the shine on this one.
